First #KMbChat on Twitter

by Bonnie Zink on February 23, 2013

Twitter chats are quite popular and can be found on a number of topics…except about knowledge mobilization or knowledge translation and exchange (KTE). What do enterprising KMb ers do? We start our own chat! With your support and interest we are ready to begin a monthly series of chats that will talk about KMb and KTE on Twitter.

The first chat will take place next Thursday, February 28, 2013 and run for one hour. We’ll begin at 12 noon (EST) and discuss a popular topic: Social media and knowledge mobilization. Please invite your friends and colleagues to follow the hashtag #KMbChat on Twitter and encourage them to participate.

We have a set up a #KMbChat Google calendar to help you keep track of dates/times and topics. We also have a KMb chat exclusive Twitter handle: @KMbChat — give it a follow to keep up on all the KMb happenings, chats, and topics.

Do you have something to share about your work and experiences in KMb? Be sure to send it my way and I will help spread the word. Questions about #KMbChat? Send me a note. Do you have a topic you’d like to discuss during our monthly Twitter chats? Submit them to me at the email address below. Would you like to share your knowledge and create new connections? Let’s talk about you facilitating a #KMbChat.
