Knowledge Translation Training Opportunity with KT Canada

The Michael Smith Foundation for Health Research (MSFHR) is excited to partner with KT Canada on their 2013 Summer Institute for Knowledge Translation.

Call for Applications

This year’s theme is “Challenges in the Science and Practice of Knowledge Translation”.  The Summer Institute will be held in Hamilton, ON from June 17-19, 2013.

  • This competition is open to graduate students, post-doctoral fellows and junior faculty in the field of knowledge translation.
  • The purpose of this Summer Institute is to provide participants with the opportunity to increase their understanding of knowledge translation research, as well as a chance to network with colleagues including national and international KT experts.

MSFHR will reimburse registration and travel costs for a maximum of four (4) BC applicants who are accepted to the Summer Institute. Eligible expenses are restricted to travel (economy airfare; taxis) and registration fee (which includes accommodation, meals and materials).

The deadline for applications is March 15, 2013 8:59 pm PST (11:59 pm EST). More information about the competition, including the program requirements and description, can be found here.

Financial support will be provided to the first four (4) BC attendees upon proof of acceptance to the Summer Institute.  Reimbursement of expenses will only be provided once original receipts are submitted to MSFHR.
