Program Associate position at the Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health

The Ontario Centre of Excellence for Child and Youth Mental Health (the Centre) is currently recruiting for a Program Associate to staff our rapid review service. The Program Associate, Knowledge Mobilization serves as a provincial resource to gather, share and use knowledge to strengthen child and youth mental health care. The Program Associate has expertise in knowledge translation/mobilization, and education and training relevant to the field of child and youth mental health, evidence-informed practices and their application in the field. The Program Associate has specific training and skills related to the development of learning tools/resources and other knowledge products. S/he is able to build and sustain relationships with stakeholders (i.e., direct service providers and leaders in the field of child and youth mental health) and is skilled in project management and coordination. Reporting to the Manager, Knowledge Mobilization, the Program Associate also supports internal research and evaluation activities, serving as a staff consultant on Centre projects. The Program Associate’s primary role will be to contribute to the development of Centre knowledge products A main responsibility will be to produce reports in the Evidence In-Sight program, which is a rapid review service that scans the literature on a particular evidence-informed practice and summarizes this in a short, user-friendly final report. The Program Associate will understand concepts related to adult learning, and will have solid skills in knowledge translation/mobilization, program coordination, research, writing and developing learning products for a diverse audience.
