Job Postings for AGE-WELL National Innovation Hub – Advancing Policy and Practice in Technology and Aging

The AGE-WELL National Innovation Hub – Advancing Policy and Practice in Technology and Aging (APPTA) is looking for two bright and energetic individuals to join our team.  APPTA is a new partnership between AGE-WELL and the New Brunswick Health Research Foundation and located at the York Care Centre building in Fredericton, NB (for a more detailed description visit http://agewell-nce.ca/innovation-hubs).  You would be working with stakeholders at all levels to promote best practice in policy and the use of technology and services to support aging in Canada.

The KASE (Knowledge Acquisition and Stakeholder Engagement) Manager will oversee the work for Quebec and Atlantic Canada.  The KASE Coordinator will oversee the work for BC to Ontario.  Together they will:

– Bring together innovators and entrepreneurs with end users, policymakers and service providers to help transform their ideas into market successes

– Gives stakeholders ready access to the latest research findings and information on emerging tools and health technologies that can support independent living and improve quality of life of older adults and caregivers

– Provides new training opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows on Policy and Practice in the field of technology and aging.
