Registration is now open for the Canadian Cochrane Centre’s 8th annual symposium, “Evidence in Uncertain Times: Meeting the Challenge,” taking place May 19-20, 2010, in Ottawa. The symposium is open to researchers, health policy makers and managers, health professionals, and patients.
Conference themes include “Health planning – there’s nothing constant but change,” “Shared evidence, shared decision making,” “Moving methodology forward,” and “Communicating the evidence.” Confirmed plenary speakers include Dr Lorne Becker, Dr Mark Helfand, Dr David Tovey, Maureen Dobbins, and Sonya Corkum.
Pre-symposium workshops will take place May 17-18.
