Reporting to the Manager of the Evidence-Based Education and Services Team, you are responsible for developing and implementing collaborative knowledge mobilization strategies that facilitate research use within the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board. In consultation with the Knowledge Mobilization and Implementation Science Lab, you will consolidate a knowledge mobilization strategy for the Board and will lead related HWDSB studies that are designed to enhance understanding of tactics and strategies that support educator uptake of evidence-based practices. You will critically appraise and synthesize the scientific literature to produce evidence reports for senior administrators, schools, and departments to support evidence-based decision-making. In collaboration with the wider HWDSB data team, you will prepare integrated, educator-friendly data reports for schools that support collaborative inquiry and school action planning and monitoring. You will provide consultation to HWDSB colleagues regarding best practices in knowledge mobilization and implementation science. Your Graduate degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Health Sciences, or Education is coupled with a minimum of three years experience within the healthcare or education field. A keen understanding of research methods, evidence-based education principles, data integration and reporting techniques, and computer applications/electronic tools to support knowledge mobilization are essential. A valid driver’s licence and reliable method of transportation is required.
