Project Coordinator – Knowledge Management

The Program Training and Consultation Centre (PTCC) is recruiting for a Project Coordinator – Knowledge Management. This is a six-month full-time contract position starting in the new year, based in downtown Toronto.

PTCC is the lead Ontario provincial tobacco control resource centre responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating tobacco control capacity building and knowledge exchange programs and services in support of the Smoke Free Ontario Strategy (SFO). Funded by Public Health Ontario, PTCC is a partnership of Cancer Care Ontario, the University of Waterloo, Region of Waterloo Public Health and Sudbury & District Health Unit. Within Cancer Care Ontario, the PTCC is located within the Prevention and Cancer Control division.

The Project Coordinator–Knowledge Management position will support PTCC’s evidence-informed activities by planning and executing the development of an online knowledge repository to organize and catalogue existing and new evidence in tobacco control. This repository will support PTCC’s evidence-informed service provision. The Project Coordinator–Knowledge Management position will also consult with staff of other teams within Cancer Care Ontario’s Prevention and Cancer Control division to create a plan for the development of a repository to support other evidence-informed services of the division. The successful candidate will have the demonstrated ability to apply professional standards in knowledge management, cataloguing, documentation and content management. He/she will be an organized, detail oriented individual with excellent time and priority management skills.
