The Canadian Water Network will be hosting its national conference, called Connecting Water Resources 2011: Responding to the Opportunities, from February 28th to March 3rd in Ottawa.
Like CWN, the conference will focus on connecting knowledge users in decision-making roles to researchers and others working to support the decision-making community to achieve an improved understanding of needs and identify opportunities for innovation.
Knowledge mobilization professionals who are interested in seeing firsthand the nature of discussions between members of the knowledge user and researcher communities are encouraged to attend. This event will provide excellent opportunities for networking with water managers, policy-makers, researchers, and practitioners, and the chance to be involved in discussions that will contribute to knowledge uptake and innovation.
