The Manager, Communications and Knowledge Mobilization reports to the TVN Executive Director, and will work closely with other Network staff, researchers, partners and stakeholders to ensure that external communications are strategic, integrated and visionary.

The successful candidate will have a college diploma or university degree in a communications discipline combined with a minimum of three to five years of progressive experience working in collaborative communications teams. We are looking for an individual with demonstrable and verifiable experience leading significant strategic integrated communications initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, as well as experience in developing, implementing and evaluating innovative knowledge mobilization strategies in the health care sector. He/she will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, proactive media relations experience, demonstrated strength in project management, and a strategic focus.

Knowledge of the NCE program or research networks, experience in the research sector, the ability to communication in both French and English, and contacts within the health, private, public and academic sectors will all be considered assets.

This is a full-time, one-year contract, subject to three months of probation, with the potential for renewal subject to satisfactory performance and availability of funding. The position is located at TVN’s Administrative Centre in Kingston, Ontario, with some periodic travel required.
