University of Guelph is launching a new Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization

Dear colleagues,

I’m thrilled to let you know that the University of Guelph is launching a new Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization! Please take a look at our website and share this information with your networks.

Certificate in Knowledge Mobilization: Turning Knowledge Into Action

The Certificate has been designed to develop participants’ knowledge, skills and values with respect to knowledge mobilization (and related concepts, such as knowledge translation and transfer, and knowledge exchange), and build capacity to select and apply KMb tools and techniques to move knowledge into action.

The first course, Inform: Processes of knowledge translation and dissemination, will be offered in Guelph on November 5-7 and 19-21, 2015. Courses 2 and 3 will be offered online in the spring and fall of 2016, respectively.

Who should participate?

The certificate is targeted towards KMb practitioners, policy-makers, service providers and researchers who are currently employed in or aim to work in the social sciences, human services and health sectors. We also welcome graduate students interested in building KMb skills or planning to work in one of these fields.
