The Faculty of Liberal Arts & Professional Studies (LA&PS) is the largest Faculty at York University with over 24,000 undergraduate and graduate students, and almost 100 programs delivered through 25 Departments, Schools and Colleges, plus the IBM Markham Learning Site. Through innovative course design, diverse experiential education and learning opportunities, and a supportive community environment, LA&PS students receive the education they need to create big ideas that have an impact on the world.Reporting to the Director, Strategic Research & Partnerships, and working with the Associate Dean, Graduate Studies & Research, the Knowledge Mobilization Specialist (KMS) supports LA&PS faculty members in generating broad impact by connecting research outputs to target audiences. The KMS works with faculty members to develop targeted knowledge mobilization plans for projects and proposals. In addition, the KMS coordinates with other knowledge mobilization experts, both internally and externally, to ensure that faculty members, trainees, students, and external partners have access to expertise and best practices relating to knowledge mobilization
