Accepting Applications: Planning for Implementation Practice (PIP) – November 2021

APPLICATIONS DUE FRIDAY SEPTEMBER 3, 2021!

PIP is an online workshop which provides a practical approach to developing an implementation plan for a new intervention, practice or innovation. PIP™ covers the core elements of implementation science with a focus on learning and planning. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of implementation science and learn how to use an evidence-based implementation planning framework.  For more information, refer to the Online PIP Course Brochure 2021

Why PIP?

  • Your team will gain an improved understanding of implementation science, the factors affecting the success of implementation endeavours and learn how to use an evidence-based implementation planning framework.
  • Your team will develop a draft implementation plan for your initiative.

Dates: November 10-11, 2021

Fee: $1,600 CAD per team

Please complete 1 application per team. Teams should consist of 2-4 members. At least one person should be from the implementing organization and one person should have decision-making authority with respect to the execution of the implementation plan. Additional team members can be researchers, practitioners, community partners, policy/decision-makers, or other key individuals involved in planning and executing your implementation initiative. All team members must be available to attend the entire workshop. Applications will be reviewed for alignment with workshop learning objectives and readiness to implement.

Developed by the Learning Institute at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, KTPC is hosted two times a year (Spring and Fall). Each session is open to 5 teams.
