The Center for Implementation is hiring an Implementation Support Coordinator

The primary focus of this position is on providing implementation support for TCI’s client projects, online courses, and TCI-driven projects (e.g., our equity work, TCI tools).

Broadly, the Implementation Support Coordinator will:

• Work alongside TCI staff to serve client and internal needs by providing project coordination. This person will coordinate the development of new online implementation courses (e.g., developing and managing timelines, working with multiple team members to plan for the development of all course components, communicating with team members and proactively solving problems).

• Support the coordination of work with clients (e.g., scheduling meetings, managing and organizing tasks, drafting content, such as slide decks, reports).

• Work with organizational partners on large-scale implementation projects; gain practical experience applying the many theories, models, and frameworks that are foundational to implementation science; gain diverse experience supporting implementation projects in multiple contexts (e.g., healthcare, education, public health); be directly involved in synthesising complex concepts and information to support the development of our courses and workshops; and have the opportunity to attend implementation training events.

The Implementation Support Coordinator is expected to have some implementation training and experience to bring to the coordination work. They will support with the development of implementation related content and associated tasks (e.g., document reviews, interviews, mapping barriers/facilitators).

They will work directly with TCI’s Executive Director, Director of Implementation, and Implementation Support Consultants to support them in the initiatives they are leading.

The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be flexible to attend to client needs and fast turnarounds. Given that we are a small social enterprise, all staff are expected to take on tasks that fall outside of formal roles, so some administrative duties will also fall within the purview of this position.

• Ideal for a master’s prepared professional interested in an implementation support career

• Minimum 3 years of implementation project coordination experience

• Previous training in implementation science

• Experience working on implementation projects

• Experience in qualitative methods (e.g., interviews) and/or mapping implementation project content to implementation frameworks (e.g., barriers and facilitators)

• Adept at drawing on foundational research skills for practical implementation

• Exceptional at coordinating different components of constantly evolving projects, including a strong ability for planning timelines and tasks

• Easily able to compile logistical needs but also consider/see the “big picture” of a project

• Highly independent and eager to be thoughtful, innovative, and creative when operationalizing work and solving problems

• A self-starter who can easily envision possibilities for change and improvement

• Passionate about education and training

• Adaptable to client needs and project timelines

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced virtual environment

• Curious, with an enthusiasm for continuous learning

We view these as assets:

• Experience or familiarity with the social impact space/social enterprises

• Experience in any design-related activities
