Frequently Asked Questions

Membership in KTECOP is free and open to anyone with an interest in knowledge transfer and exchange. To join, simply fill in the Registration Form and submit. Follow the instructions to verify your e-mail address. A user account will be created and you will receive a final confirmation e-mail.

If you have lost or forgotten your password, use the "Forgot?" link (underneath the Login box) to reset it.

1. Click on the "Forgot?" link
2. Enter your username and email address
3. Click the "Reset Password" button
4. A reset link will be sent to your email address. Follow the instructions in the email.

Your Member Profile appears in the KTECOP Member Directory. The Member Directory is only visible to other KTECOP members, and users must be logged in to view the directory. Edit your Member Profile to keep your contact information up to date, including your current organization and job title, and your biographical statement. NOTE: Your must be logged in to edit your Member Profile.

When you log in to the KTECOP website, a black bar will appear across the top of the screen. Your name appears in the top right corner:

Roll your mouse over your name, and a drop-down menu will appear. Select "Edit My Profile" from the drop-down menu:

Scroll down the page to "Avatar" and click on "Choose Image":

Select the "Upload Files" tab:

Click on the "Select Files" button:

Upload a photo from your computer to the Media Library, then click the blue "Select" button (bottom right).

Click on the blue "Update Profile" button (bottom of the page) to save your changes:

Visit the Member Directory to see your new profile picture in action.

To receive an automatic email alert whenever something new is published on the KTECOP website, click on the "Subscribe Now!" link in the sidebar.

You will receive an automated confirmation email. Click on the link in the message to confirm your subscription.

Click on the Unsubscribe link in the email notification.

KTECOP members can post job ads, free of charge, on the KTECOP website.
